Note: If you have MS Word 2003 or 2007, you will need to make changes to your Word security settings to allow Abacus to work. These changes are outlined in the Abacus FAQ which will be in your Abacus folder when you install Abacus. If you would rather not have to deal with these security issues, you may prefer to use the standalone version, Abacus SE which is the program we recommend for use with Word 2003 and 2007.

When you buy the Abacus, we do not send you the program files on a floppy disk or CD. Instead, you obtain the program by downloading it from here on our web site and installing it on your computer. If you then decide to buy it, we will send you a special "unlock code" that you apply to your trial version of the Abacus, thus converting it to the full, registered version of the program.

We strongly suggest that you take advantage of our offer to download and try the Abacus free before purchasing, as we do not make refunds!

After they confirm your purchase, we will email you the registration code (within 24 hours; usually within just a few hours) you need to unlock the Abacus and let you use all of the program's features without those nagging registration notices. Current Abacus Users: If you are a registered user of any version of the Abacus (including Abacus SE), you are entitled to upgrade to version 3.0 of the program for half price. To obtain your upgrade, download the file "Abacus30exe.zip" and unzip; and install the program on your computer by double clicking on the file "abacus30.exe". You will then need a new unlock code.
