At Abacus Medical Systems we develop custom software for the medical industry. We limit our development to personal computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system. We have created custom software solutions for individuals, small businesses, and corporations.

Our approach to custom programming is quite simple and consumer friendly. We build your software product in accordance with your specifications. You then try it out. If you don't like it, or if it doesn't meet your needs, you don't pay for it and the program is allowed to expire. On the other hand if you are happy with the software and it does meet your needs, we have a 3 tier fee schedule:

• The source code remains our property, and your license only allows you to use the program in the course of your work. You may not sell the program, give it away, or otherwise distribute it.
• We retain the source code and non-exclusive rights to the program, but you are allowed to use the program any way you choose, including selling it.
• We develop the program and assign to you the source code and non-exclusive rights to use it as you see fit, including selling it or otherwise distributing it.
